Martin Vialatte is betting on organic!
 

“Green Care Alliance” represents Sofralab’s will to contribute to the development of organic wines through the services and enological products the company offers.

Organic has been very popular the past few years. With regards to Viticulture, the number of organic wineries and wineries converting to organic has significantly increased: they currently totalize 40,000 ha. In order to better help these wineries, Martin Vialatte Œnologie is developing a range of products and services adapted to their needs.



Producing organic wines with products from Martin Vialatte Œnologie

Martin Vialatte is taking steps to assist its clients with the production of organic wines through compliance surveys, certification procedures and the availability of information adapted to the organic market.

  • Organic compliance services

We will provide information with regards to the conformity of our enological products compared to other charters/existing regulations: Demeter / NOP / CEVinBio / CCPAE (Catalan charter) …

  • OMRI Certification to export organic wines to the USA

If wine producers want to export organic wines to the USA, they have to follow NOP regulations. Several enological products from Martin Vialatte Œnologie are NOP certified and can be used by clients who want to export their wines (consult our commercial services). However, Martin Vialatte Œnologie decided to have some enological products certified by the OMRI, an American organization whose norms are based on NOP standards in order to facilitate wine certification for our clients. List of enological products from Martin Vialatte Œnologie conform to NOP according to the OMRI: Taniraisin, Tanigal, Filtrostabil P, ProVgreen Red, Silisol.

OptiRed, OptiWhite and Optimum White distributed by Martin Vialatte Oenologie also appear on the OMRI products list.

What is the OMRI? The Organic Materials Review Institute is an organization that is approved by the USDA (United State department of Agriculture) to authorize the utilization of inputs by the food industry with regards to organic production based on NOP regulations.
