Our IRD (Innovation – Research and Development) department, led by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, conducts research by relying on specialised tools, such as a microbiology laboratory and an enzymology laboratory.
These human and financial resources allow us to develop oenological products as we strive to continuously enhance the processes involved in the art of wine-making through the use of oenological products.
To foster openness and dialogue, we collaborate with a wide network of international scientific partners – research institutions, technical hubs, and universities, to participate in the future of oenology.

At its experimental winery, MARTIN VIALATTE validates its innovations in oenological products as well as in vinification and ageing protocols. At our experimental station we carry out numerous trials for our customers (new processes, fining, stabilisation, ageing and wood for oenology), with statistical treatment of data (TASTEL software). Our experts also offer technical assistance to our partner wineries.
